Their vulcanization mechanism is based on the addition reaction of vinyl groups (hydrosilylation reactions) on the end groups of silicone gels (hydrosilation reactions) and the silicone groups on cross-chains (vulcanization agents). In this reaction, polysiloxane containing hydrogenation function is used as a cross-linking agent (even under high-pressure steam) chloroplatinic acid or other soluble platinum compounds as a catalyst. The vulcanization reaction was carried out at the suffocation temperature. Do not release by-products. Since low molecular weight silicone rubber is not released during the cross-linking process, adding room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber during vulcanization will not shrink. A two-component condensed silicone rubber that cures at room temperature. It consists of two components, A and B. The glue has the characteristics of translucency. When in use, the two components A and B can be mixed in proportion and then put into use. The curing speed is adjustable, and deep curing can be carried out.

Process steps:

1. Measurement: Accurately weigh components A and B (mix or shake components A and B separately before weighing).

2. Stirring: Add component B to the container containing component A, and mix evenly (if necessary, take a vacuum to remove bubbles).

3. Pouring: Seal the mixed mixture in the product to be sealed (operation time is about 30 to 60 minutes).

4. Curing: Put the filling component in the air, it takes 5 ~ 24 hours to fully cure, the temperature is high in summer, the curing speed is fast, the opposite is true in winter, after complete curing, it can be baked in an oven at 80 ℃ ~ 100 ℃ for several hours , Better electrical performance.

Precautions:

  1. Adjustment of gel time: The operating time can be adjusted by changing the amount of component B, increasing the amount of component B can shorten the gel time, and reducing the amount of component B can extend the gel time.

2. Mixing: After mixing, components A and B can be mechanically stirred manually. If manually stirred, the compound attached to the bottom and sides of the container should be precipitated several times to ensure that components A and B can be completely dissolved.

3. Generally, the filling and sealing of low-voltage electrical appliances cannot peel off air bubbles. If high-voltage electrical appliances are filled, they must be defoamed in vacuum and then filled.

4.The compound and curing agent should be sealed and stored, and the mixed compound should be used up at one time.
