Silicone adhesives
13 Apr 2020
Silicones have been used to draw sticky products for decades due to their limberness, temperature cycling resistance, reagent resistance, and comprehensive roam of possible corporeal properties.
Silicone adhesives have the following indefinite characteristics:
High litheness (light modulus) at sub-investing compound
Consistent work over distant compound frequent (a consideration they business so well with Polyimide Tapes)
Excellent ageing and UV resistance (a reason they employment so well in LED applications)
High temperature resistance
Good resistance to polar solvents
Compared to acrylic and rubber adhesives, they are significantly more expensive, but due to their excellent high compound work they are very well suited to splicing tapes, conceal tapes and polyimide sick.
