Silicone and PVC glue

According to the different bonding process of silicone and PVC （601/490）, our company has the following glue for customers to choose:

Process 1: bonding of molding silica gel to PVC at room temperature. Speed type: firstly, silicone primer k770-3 is used to treat the interface of silica gel to be bonded;

Again, a small amount of glue 601/490 should be applied on the interface of the two materials (one side can be used) (generally speaking, small drops of glue in a large area can be used);

Finally, press them together for a few seconds.

Note: advantages of this process: first bonding speed, strong bonding relay;

Disadvantages: not waterproof, temperature resistance 160°C below, glues with more white phenomenon.

Process two: molding silica gel and PVC adhesive at room temperature, slow-drying type: first with toluene or alcohol cleaning silica gel and PVC surface (to remove oil and dust);

Secondly, the surface of PVC was addressed in silica gel primer cl-24s-8 and left at room temperature for 30 minutes or baked at 80°C for 15 minutes.

Apply the silicone glue kn-300 evenly on the interface of the two to be bonded again, and finally fix or press the two together and place them for 10-12 hours

Note: advantages of this process: slow bonding speed, firm bonding, waterproof, sealing, high temperature resistance 280°C, uv protection, keep the original flexibility of silicone, etc., weaknesses: slow bonding speed.

Process 3: platinum catalytic silica gel and PVC hot curing molding: first clean silica gel and PVC surface with toluene (to remove oil and dust);

Secondly, the surface of PVC was addressed in silica gel primer cl-24s-8 and left at room temperature for 30 minutes or baked at 80°C for 15 minutes.

Finally with silica gels hot curing molding (molding or injection molding).

Note: advantages of this process: first bonding speed, firm bonding, waterproof and sealing after bonding, high temperature resistance 280°C, uv protection, keep the original elasticity and toughness of silicone, etc., disadvantages: temperature required.
