What primer use for bonding silicone with PC
The silicone and PC are completely different material , but they are usually combined to make of a product . Now the question came as what adhesive primer is used for bonding the silicone and PC . The temperature that PC material tolerate ranges from -45℃-135℃. Due to this limit , The bonds alway originated from LSR Silicone to PC which we have the CL-26AB-25 that specially design for this application.
After silicone is cured to silicone rubber. The bond with PC in room temperature will be Instant dry version adhesive 460 with surfactant K-770 or RTV silicone adhesive KN-300 featuring with soft elastic ,water and air tight ,weather resistant.
Bonding Case 1:LSR Overmolding PC in high temperature
Suggested Adhesive Model : CL-26AB-26
Feature: Water-resistance ,Oil resistance. Chemical resistance,solvent resitance and other harsh environment.
Bonding Case 2: Silicone Rubber bond PC in fast fasion
Suggested Adhesive Model : 460 with K-770 Surfactant
Feature : Slow whity , 3 -55 seconds to achieve a bond between Silicone with PC
Bonding Case 3: Silicone Rubber bond PC in room temperature
Suggested Adhesive Model : KN-300 Series
Feature : Surface dry for 30 minutes ,complete bond is achieved after 24 hours afer the adhesive contact with air and moisture. The adhesive is waterproof ,air-tight and weather resistance . The adhesive is also FDA compliant.
