How to heat vulcanize silicone glue

Surface treatment: Degrease after mechanical methods (such as sandblasting), or use toluene or ester solvents to remove oil and dust on the metal or plastic surface to ensure the surface is clean.
Gluing: Apply the silicone adhesive evenly on the surface to be bonded. You can use tools such as brushes, rollers or spray guns to ensure that the coating is uniform and covers the entire surface to be bonded. For plastic bonding, you can use the immersion method to soak the plastic in glue for about 30 minutes.
Drying: Let the applied glue dry at room temperature, which usually takes at least 30 minutes, but may take longer, depending on the type of glue and room temperature. If conditions permit, you can also bake it in an oven at 60°C for 25 minutes until the treatment agent on the surface to be bonded is cured into a film.
Vulcanization: Place the silicone parts coated with adhesive in a heating device for heating. The heating temperature is usually between 160 and 180 degrees, and the vulcanization time is generally 5 minutes. However, the specific heating temperature and time should be determined according to the requirements of the adhesive to ensure that it is within the thermal vulcanization temperature range of silicone.
Crimping: During the heating process, press the silicone parts to be bonded together to ensure that the adhesive is fully wetted and bonded to the silicone material at high temperature. Use appropriate pressure to ensure good contact and eliminate bubbles.
Cooling: After crimping, let the silicone parts cool naturally to room temperature. During this process, the adhesive will continue to vulcanize and form a strong connection.
Post-processing: If needed, the bonding area can be trimmed and post-processed, such as removing excess adhesive, surface treatment, etc.
Notes:
Try to vulcanize the glue on the same day after applying it to ensure the bonding effect. If it is parked for more than three days, you may need to re-apply glue.
Avoid using it in a humid environment. It needs to be hot-vulcanized in a dry environment to prevent humidity from affecting the performance of the glue.
When storing, it needs to be placed in a cool and dry place, avoiding sunlight exposure and high temperature environment to avoid affecting the use effect.
The above steps and precautions are for reference only. The specific operation should be carried out according to the silicone glue used and the product requirements.
