What is metal surface treatment agent? Metal surface treatment agent refers to the general term for chemical agents that perform various treatments on metal surfaces.
Metal surface treatment includes substrate pretreatment such as degreasing, rust removal, phosphating, and rust prevention, which is a preparation for metal coating technology and metal protection technology. The quality of substrate pretreatment has a great impact on the subsequent coating preparation and metal use.
It mainly includes three categories: cleaning agent, rust inhibitor, and phosphating solution. Metal surface treatment technology is divided into two categories: mechanical treatment (such as sandblasting, polishing, high-pressure water washing, etc.) and chemical treatment.
As for coating, electroplating and other technologies, they have independently developed into a metal corrosion protection technology, and the chemical agents used are usually not included in the scope of metal surface treatment agents referred to here.
