Why not use instant adhesive on glass
01 Jul 2024
When using instant adhesive to bond glass, the initial strength is relatively high, which will be greatly reduced over time. However, due to the basic properties of glass, the curing speed is very fast, and it is very likely that the adhesive layer near the glass will directly produce high molecular stress.
Due to the contraction and expansion of the joints and temperature changes, or the hydrolysis and erosion of water, this high stress will make the cured polymer around the adhesive layer prone to chemical and physical degradation in the long run.
When used for bonding glass substrates, etc., permanent bonding cannot be achieved at the joints.
KL-363A instant adhesive is a one-component acrylic adhesive. It does not require heating or solvents, cures quickly at room temperature, and has high bonding strength.
Due to the wide range of applications of KL-363A instant adhesive, the correctness and applicability of its use are beyond the control of our company, so users need to make further confirmation before use.
